Hi, Calmgrove. I prefer “real” books to ebooks also. If you see this . . . You can follow the link Jean gives at the beginning of this post, embedded in first graf with the title of the book, and then page down about half-way and there’s a box that says paperback on the right-hand side of the screen (just below the red typeface that says “Available Oct. 31”). Click on that and it sends you directly to the Amazon link to the ppb book. Or (and I’m not sure if this link will go through) go directly to Amazon; I checked it a minute ago in the US and it seems to work fine: https://www.amazon.com/Fallen-Princeborn-Stolen-Jean-Lee/dp/1949428001

Ha! That unicorn in the triangle is a warning that fantasy is likely to be met on the blog! I was inspired by a defaced road sign in the far west of Wales, a country already full of myths and legends, as of course is Scotland. Thanks for following my blog, I shall have a look at yours now. 😊

I see…like a unicorn crossing, eh? Very cool. Oh, and as to my blog, I don’t often dabble in fantasy, especially so-called high fantasy, though I do enjoy partaking of it. Thus, my blog might not be very interesting to you, but know that I am a bibliophile as are you…just reading your older post about second-hand books, which I love, but, yes, you definitely have to be careful, especially with regard to mold and such. My librarian spouse has taught me so much about books and about how I (used to be) a book Philistine, dog-earing the pages of some of mine and writing or highlighting in them. Tsk, tsk! I know; call me Ashamed. I used to be a serial book abuser. (Pun not initially intended, but I just went with it.) Now I’m correcting the young one who marked her place in the book by making the spine do a split and turning it upside down. I am one of the enlightened now!

OH MY GOSH MY KIDS DO THAT ALL THE TIME. It drives. Me. NUTS. The one thing I tell myself so I don’t simply lock all the books away is that they all LOVE books. They love reading in weird places, falling asleep with them with the flashlight on…I need to focus on that, and not the sad, sad state all our books are in. 🙂

Yeah, I let them do what they do with the books for the most part, but I do tend to nag. Sometimes too much. I’ve gotta work on that!
