Welcome back, my fellow creatives!
But only for a moment, I’m afraid. Midterms slammed me to the wall this week, so I wasn’t able to develop my love letter to a little Halloween movie watched in the Lee house for many years. However, we will get to that along with an author interview and more this month, so stay tuned there!
In the meantime, my husband Bo has decided it’s high time for the not-so-little-Bs to see aaaaaaaaaaaall the Monty Python episodes. We’re only in the first season, where the episodes are PACKED with absurd genius. One sketch in particular struck me as a fellow creative: the young son breaks free from his parents’ class to pursue a life unlike anything they know. It’s a timeless premise, one that Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, and Eric Idle flip with hilarious results.
Though your family may not understand your aspirations, know that you are not alone. May your writer’s cramp never cripple you, and may your good honest sweat help you uncover some amazing stories–and, ideally, a few gala luncheons.
Read on, share on, and write on, my friends!

I have been schooled in Pythonics for decades and have the boxed set of their television show. ENJOY!!!
