Welcome back, my fellow creatives!
But only for a moment, I’m afraid. These past couple of weeks I’ve been walloped by finals, and I’m still woefully behind on comments you all have kindly left on my posts this past spring. Considering this weekend Blondie turns 16 this weekend–

–and a fresh wave of late work has crashed my inbox from students desperate to pass, I’m going to leave you with one of my favorite comedic bits John Cleese ever did. I knew it from a Monty Python recording featuring Cleese and Chapman, but the original version was broadcast in At Last the 1948 Show and featured Marty Feldman.
May your bookseller always have your book–no matter how unique the title or author may be. x
Coming up, we will (God-willing) be back on track with podcasts, author interviews, and trips to summer camp. Stay tuned!
Read on, share on, and write on, my friends!

I saw John Cleese speak last year in Beverly Hills.
It was such an honor. What a brilliant guy. If all he
had ever done was Fawlty Towers his name would
live forever. Thanks, Jean.
