Welcome back, my fellow creatives!
After dealing with a massive pile of finals, I am all for abandoning the present world for a while.

This little adventure into Story Empire features the insights of C.S. Boyack, whom I interviewed oh so long ago here on Jean Lee’s World. Craig delves (I don’t care if AI overuses that word–I LIKE THAT WORD) into some of the major and the minor realms of punk storytelling. You may have heard of steampunk and cyberpunk, but did you know about Dieselpunk? Having watched Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow a number of times with Bash who ADORES robots, designating a genre for that specific time period makes a lot of sense!
As one who’s WIP definitely fits into the Punk realms, I’m excited to share Craig’s post with you to help inspire your own imagination and story-worlds.
Coming up, I’ve got another podcast, cult classic music, a happy accident, and more. Stay tuned!
Read on, share on, and write on, my friends!

I liked the Ray Bradbury quote, and I am guessing that regardless of genre, all writers are trying to escape the real world sometimes!
