Happy Wednesday, one and all! I’ve continued exploring unique fantasy reads, this time in the spirit of Pride Month. Let’s begin June with Spellhacker by M.K. England.
Let’s take a sip together to taste this urban world where magic is not…well it’s not your typical magical world.

If you’d like to recommend a read for the podcast, let me know in the comments below! I’d welcome reading any indie authors’ stories as well. x
Read on, share on, and write on, my friends!

As you said Jean, this is a very interesting mix- adventure, magic and tech. It’s very fast paced with good action writing. Intriguing.

That’s what I thought! I think it helps the action is minimal–that is, between two characters. It gives us the ability to “zoom in” and focus on the moment.

Lovely review, Jean. Nice analysis. Not sure it’s my kind of writing, but I was hooked by your reading style.
Hope the marking is going well.

Glad you enjoy it! It’s fun to read and meander through my thoughts on these. 🙂 Hope you’ve had some sun these days…frankly, you can have the sun for a few days, we’ve had too much. There’s drought conditions here…
